I just read Manic Mother's post from 2 days ago saying that her little boy Ezra was just diagnosed with leukemia and will need chemo for 3 years!! As is completely imaginable, she and her family are now facing financial difficulties and have asked for your help. Donate-any amount at all- or help by spreading the word. Her story is so sad, and no family should have to go through this without some support. You can read her full post about it HERE.
I think that, however tragic this must be for her,her whole family, and friends, we should realize something. This could happen to any one of us, and if we needed support, would everyone else be there for us? Take a moment from your busy day (and life) and read her story, and if you are unable to help financially, she would love and appreciate an encouraging comment or help spreading the word I'm sure.

Help her spread the word about this by tweeting, reposting this or her post, telling friends, family, anything! I'm sure she will be blessed to have any help.

Today has soo not been a particularly good day for me. You could say I have a pretty bad case of "the blues". But, entering (well, winning) giveaways cheers me up a bit, so I've been hunting for some more giveaways.

Invisible Children is having a Rescue event to rescue Joseph Kony's children soldiers...If you haven't heard of them yet, Invisible Children is an organization to help raise awareness and help for children in Africa who are enslaved for the purpose of becoming soldiers. The rescue is to help raise awareness on a large scale for the children soldiers enslaved by Joseph Kony...there are events where you can help all over, internationally,too. It's all this Staurday, April 25.

Some thoughts...

Spring is almost here!! It takes a while( at least where I am) but eventually it arrives, and so do new colors and styles of fashion and makeup...Have anything in particular you have on your spring wishlist??

Well, I'm dying to get some wedges and gladiator sandals in bright colors...I consider them the new, much-improved flip flop:) Plus, a spring/summer must: light, airy dresses! There's this one Jill Stuart dress that is soo gorgeous; ahhh, but it only costs about $450!! Not even near possible for me...

Also, any questions you have for me, I would love to answer. I'll be doing my first review on the Revlon false lashes and nails that I won just as soon as I try 'em. Any products you've been wondering about? Makeup tips? I'll be glad to help!
